The Youth
Law Center awarded Chief Probation Officer Lee Seale with the 2016 Loren
Warboys Unsung Hero Award for trailblazing leadership in the Sacramento
Probation Department for his efforts to ensure the success of youth in and out
of detention. The ceremony was held in San Francisco, California, on December 12,
2016, honoring individuals whose dedication to reform helps to protect and
improve the welfare of children in our nation’s foster care and juvenile
justice systems.
“Sacramento
County Probation should be very proud of its work in support of justice
involved youth,” says Jennifer Rodriguez, Executive Director of the Youth Law
Center.
